This systematic review evaluates qualitative research on patient perspectives for alleviating hoarding disorder symptoms. Analyzing 21 peer-reviewed studies, researchers identified five key themes: interconnection, autonomy, self-care, cognitive-behavioral change, and practical help. The findings highlight that trusted interpersonal relationships and tailored care are vital for recovery.
