Abstract

This review synthesizes empirical studies examining the antecedents and outcomes of job search self-efficacy among students and job seekers. Across multiple methodologies, researchers found that mentorship, emotional intelligence, and career adaptability significantly bolster self-efficacy. These factors consistently enhance job search behaviors, intensity, and eventual employment success.
