This study investigated the link between adult ADHD and light sensitivity using an online survey of 494 adults with and without ADHD symptoms. Self-reported photophobia was significantly more prevalent among individuals with ADHD at 69 percent compared to 28 percent in controls. Participants with ADHD also reported wearing sunglasses for longer durations across all seasons.
