This daily diary study examines whether bedtime procrastination stems from biological rhythms or self-control failures. Tracking 108 employees over five workdays, the researchers found that evening chronotypes engaged in more bedtime procrastination, which declined across the work week. Lower evening self-regulatory resources did not increase delay, challenging views of bedtime procrastination.
