This randomized controlled trial evaluated the feasibility and efficacy of an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention program compared to treatment as usual in 168 adults recovering from substance use disorders. Participants receiving the mindfulness intervention showed significantly lower rates of substance use and craving over four months, supporting its promise as an aftercare approach.
