This study examines the mediating role of working memory in the relationship between emotional dysregulation and social functioning among Saudi Arabian adults with ADHD. Using a cross-sectional design with 88 participants, researchers utilized the PROCESS macro to analyze how cognitive deficits influence interpersonal outcomes. The findings demonstrate that working memory acts as a significant mediator, suggesting that executive function improvements are linked to better social performance. These results highlight the complex interplay between cognitive processes and emotional regulation in adult ADHD populations.
